Real estate isn't just Anthony M. Williams' profession—it's his life’s calling. His journey didn’t begin with a business plan or a license. It began in the passenger seat of his grandmother’s Chevy Impala, cruising through California neighborhoods in the 1970s. He was five years old, and his grandmother, a trailblazing Century 21 agent, was on her way to becoming a multi-million dollar producer. She taught herself to draft blueprints at the public library, built a duplex and a studio apartment (from scratch) with ‘Nothing Down’ long before the phrase was coined, and paid off her first home through vision and hustle. That legacy shaped Anthony before he even understood what real estate meant.
By middle school, Anthony was helping his mother sort through mortgage loan documents at the kitchen table. She was a single mom and home-based mortgage underwriter—and his first teacher in resilience, numbers, and paperwork. That early exposure to the inner workings of finance planted seeds that would flourish decades later.
As a student at UC Berkeley in the late '80s and early '90s, Anthony served as a live-in property manager while studying Real Estate Finance and Business Marketing. Between exams and late-night maintenance calls, he was learning in real time what it meant to own, manage, and build community through property.
His next chapter took him to New York, where he bought his first investment property in 2000 —a 10-acre subdivision, which he converted to a Mobile-Home Park. That was just the beginning. He soon acquired a commercial office building and stepped fully into the role of investor, developer, and dealmaker.
In 2017, Anthony and his Wife of 13 years, Michele joined FortuneBuilders, where his journey accelerated rapidly. He dove headfirst into property auctions, fix-and-flips, wholesaling, and assignments. He bought his first commercial apartment building, launched a successful Airbnb, and mastered both single and multi-family acquisitions. His approach was always the same: learn it, live it, teach it.
But nothing compared to the pride of earning his New York State Real Estate Sales License. Becoming a Realtor® wasn’t just a career milestone—it was a mission. Anthony saw it as a way to give back, to educate, and to open doors for others through affordable homeownership, creative financing, and private lending.
He’s not just in the business—he lives it. He’s comforted grieving families navigating the probate process, an experience that led him to become a Certified Residential Probate Specialist. His compassion and expertise have earned him the nickname: “The Prince of Probate”.
Anthony’s leadership extends beyond sales. He has served for eight years on his local Planning Board, currently sits on the National Housing Commission for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and is an active member of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), proudly serving with the Realtists of Westchester chapter. He also holds membership in NAR, NYSAR, HGAR, BBN, BREPA and UDC, and carries an impressive list of professional designations & Certifications.
His true passion lies in education—empowering first-time homebuyers, teaching creative financing strategies, and helping underserved families build generational wealth through real estate. This is further exemplified by his own legacy, where two of his six children are also involved in different aspects of the Real Estate Industry.
From the back seat of that Impala to the forefront of real estate innovation, Anthony M. Williams has never stopped building—Homes, Communities, or Dreams!
